Dear supporting friends; greetings in the name of the Lord, from the Land of Mexico.
This is our prayer letter for the first quarter of 2011
This year started as the last one ended.
1. We have been extremely busy.
2. The violence in Mexico is still raging.
3. We continue to see several souls saved.
We just returned from a two weeks trip and what can I say, God has been good with us.
In the first month, we had a Bible conference in Irapuato Mexico with missionary Lacy Wheeler. We enjoyed great preaching and about 60 preachers were present every night.
Then we drove to Morelia, Michoacán to dedicate the new church building of my nephew, Manuel Gomez. The headline news read “Morelia is burning” many people were killed that week, but we decided to continue on with our trip. And we had great services; the attendance was of about 250, and eight souls got saved.
We are still ministering under the sounds of Helicopters flying above our heads and grenades explosions.
A Great conference in Juarez!
It is well documented that the City of Juarez is the most violent city in the world, Matamoros is a close second. We preached from Wednesday through Sunday, and on Saturday night we had an open air meeting with about 1,500 in attendance. We distributed 14,000 complete Bibles and had several souls saved.
Than we went to Fredericksburg, VA, to participate in the Missions conference of Crossroads Baptist Church and we had a great, great conference.

Amados hermanos en Cristo; Saludos en el nombre del Señor desde México.
Esta es nuestra carta de oración para el primer cuarto de 2011
El comienzo del año fue igual que el final del año pasado.
1. Hemos estado extremadamente ocupados.
2. La violencia en México sigue creciendo.
3. Muchas almas siguen viniendo a los pies del Señor.
Recién regresamos de un viaje de dos semanas y qué podemos decir, solo que la mano de Dios ha sido buena con nosotros.
En el primer mes, tuvimos una conferencia de la Biblia en Irapuato con el misionero Lacy Wheeler. Disfrutamos de hermosas predicaciones y como 60 predicadores asistieron cada noche.
Luego viajamos hacia Morelia, Michoacán para dedicar el Nuevo Templo de la Iglesia de mi sobrino Manuel Gómez. El encabezado del periódico decía: “Arde Morelia” hubo muchos asesinatos esa semana. Pero decidimos continuar con el viaje. Dios nos guardó y tuvimos unos servicios gloriosos culminando el domingo por la noche con una asistencia de cómo 250 y ocho almas fueron salvas.
Seguimos ministrando bajo el sonido de los helicópteros volando sobre nuestra cabeza y de la explosión de granadas.
¡Tuvimos una gran conferencia en Juárez!
Está bien documentado, Juárez es la ciudad más violenta del mundo, Matamoros es la número dos. Predicamos de miércoles a domingo, y el sábado tuvimos un servicio al aire libre al cual asistieron como 1,500 personas. Regalamos 14,000 Biblias completas y muchas almas fueron salvas.
